We meet every Monday morning between 9.30am – 11.30am and the children’s age range is from one year to school age. Parents stay with the children and join in the activities taking a turn to organise a simple craft. The cost is £3 per child.
The session starts with free play for the children and we come together at 10.30am for singing, birthday celebrations, fruit and juice. While the parents enjoy a hot drink the children sit down to do a simple craft activity, usually involving a lot of glue and glitter and sometimes some paint!
We clear up together at 11am and then bring out the cars, trikes and scooters for a final charge around the spacious hall and to make sure everyone is really tired and ready to leave by 11.30.
The group is open to anyone in the local community but it is not a drop-in session. We try to keep the numbers down to around 30 per session so we ask people to commit to regular attendance.
