Hampden Way is a maintained local authority nursery school that is part of a federation of three nursery schools in the East Barnet area. The federation is known as BEYA. (Barnet Early Years Alliance) BEYA Children’s Centre operates across all three sites. Hampden Way alongside Brookhill gained teaching school status in March 2015. Hampden way is situated in a largely residential area.
The school enjoys being part of a diverse community and we hope that you, as parents and carers, will get to know the school well and feel that you are part of it.
The school is the responsibility of the Local Authority, but governed by BEYA’s governing body. The school has the same holidays and routines as other Barnet schools. The only difference is the children are under 5, but the qualifications of the teachers and Early Years Educators are the same as those who work in primary schools.
